Greywake is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and music producer Björn Kirchhoff. What started out as a loose collection of ideas suddenly became a focused project when friend and ex-band-colleague Manuel Hirner (Remember Your Scars) joined as vocalist in 2024.
Greywake is currently a 2-man studio project. We're releasing our debut 8-track album over the course of 2025 and 2026. We're inspired by artists from the 90s and 2000s, particularly metalcore, grunge, and nu-metal from this era. We're also obsessed with modern day recording and production techniques. Both qualities combined give our music a nostalgic character that's delivered with the punch, clarity, and fullness of modern day productions.
Lyrical themes for this initial release cycle will focus on personal, introspective topics that moved us - mentally and physically - over the last couple of years.
